Is it fair to compare Mzilikazi or Lobengula to Mugabe?

I am referring to someone who wrote this comment in my last post on the History of Matabeleland:
"listen here you idiots. mzilikazi like Mugabe.and lobengula are or perfect candidates for trial in the hague.BLOODMURDERERS"

Definately they are comparable .the brutality with which they executed their mission is the same.Mzilikazi murdered kalanga/karanga chiefs and their people mercilessly.imagine skining people alive and tossing them into fire.looting catle and women.burning villages.he wasnt diplomatic but agressive and to a larger extend a savage of the highest calibre.

The comparison is not necessary. Mzilikazi and Lobhengula are abantu, Mugabe is munhu. Umuntu and munhu just can not go together until one of them sells out or licks the bottom of the other. Can tar and water mix or be compared?

AmaShona axhwalileyo are the ones keen on establishing a link and comparisons with Ndebele royalty. You see, when a people have no past tradition, they tend to create one and try to equate it with other traditions from other people of the past. It is a compensatory behaviour where bankruptcy of human experience has been evident. The Shona want to believe they have been great. No! Mugabe stole them into the limelight by killing more than 50 000 unarmed civilians in the Midlands and Matabeleland. Now they think they are equal to kings! pathetic!

And the Ndebele are being humiliated by Mugabe and Tsvangirai refusing to grant them devolution. The same Ndebele will continue to lick the Mugabe-Tsvangirai asses! Calling them kings! Enough to ukuhlanzisa any sensible person!

hahaha very funny. That was then and this is now. Hate it or love it - that Ndebele era of dominance is done-over-finished and we are not going there. You better adapt or ....

Mugabe is very intelligent, wiseguy though he makes mistakes lyk everybody else. he just doing his best to keep the country safe. Zimbabweans are very intelligent,we need a leader who's smarter n we got him. If you think you smarter & can beat him pliz be our guest ...
Lobengula, well from the history books he was not a very inteligent guy,(respect the dead tru)..besides i do not believ in FAT LEADERS no disrespect...
Mzilikazi well i think he was ambitious, powerful as warrior from a great tribe but from their tribe they use muscle more than their heads. i dont like that...gr8 comparison but Lobengula hayi leave him out of it

Nhlanhla Masuku, Vusumuzi Ncube and Nervous Moyo are singing from Jo'Burg. Their songs are called Sunungurai, Maoko, Chinja, M.D.C. I guess all that is Shona! These guys have adapted and know who their kings are - Shona! Therefore Mugabe, Tsvangirai, to them could just be like King Lobengula and Mzilikazi! Lafa elihle kakhulu we Ndukuzibomvu!

Whoever said Ndebele days of dominance are over might be deceiving themselves. There is no genocide, not a single one, the whole world over, which has never been avenged. The Ndebele will not be the first to forget a Shona genocide on them and not do something about it. Such a writer as hahahaha very funny, is in for some very rude awakening!

Ndevere were fooled by their short lived glory over a forty five year period of barbarism against the Shona under the leadership of Mzirikadzi and the mentally deranged Rhobhengura. Well the mighty and intelligent Shonas have reclaimed their position. Either live with that or go back to KZN/ Mpumaranga in peace before we bring you to extinction you people of an unrepentant tribe.

King Mzilikazi Khumalo (inkosi ka1822-1868), king Nkulumane Khumalo (inkosi ka1836-1837 eyabambela uyise), king Lobhengula Khumalo (inkosi ka1870-1893), king Mbiko kaMadlenya kaMasuku (inkosi ka1868-1870 eyomhlamuko), king Mncumbatha Khumalo (inkosi ka1868-1870 inkosi yokubambela umntwana ngesikhathi sokuzila), king Nyanda Khumalo (inkosi ka1896 eyomvukela eyemfihlo) are all notable Ndebele kings who have no parallel. Only Joshua Nyongolo Nkomo can approximate any of these Ndebele heroes. Unfortunately, the Ndebele do not know all their kings. They use texbooks of whites to talk about the Ndebele. They use Shona books too from the likes of Ngwabi Bhebhe and the usual suspects like Chigwedere and not see Ndebelehood from the Ndebele viewpoint. Any attempt to compare Shona genocidal miscreants to Ndebele kings is treasonable! And should be punished as such!

you can not compare okuyinkosi kwamatHarare lenkosi zamaNdebele...it wil b an insult to do such..and for amaswina la to think that we will forget that they murdered our pple is wishful thinking...we will neva forget and be aware vengeance is coming..

WE will never forget what mzilikazi and nyamazana did to our forefathers and our people .the same you will never forget what zanu pf and mugabe did with the help of nkala .

Mzilikazi and Lobengula can not be compared to satanists. They ruled using the methods of that time not these murderous maniacs of today whose aim is to enrich themselves by plundering our countries and fellow citizens.

listen here you the very people you are insulting are the ones who are ones who have the heritage of this nation. so just be humble enough and accept that without them you cannot call yourself a Zimbabwean today.
