Every time if one says something inline with "economic sabotage of Matabeleland" Zimbabweans cry tribalism, WHY?

Kodwa iqiniso liqiniso! njalo libuhlungu!

Nonsense, Ndebele people are not business minded and not progressive. We still crying gukurahundi that ended 15 years ago. With or without gukurahundi we always had ndebele politicians in Byo. No ndebeles starting businesses, why? Singamavila sivika ngame excuses.

i think we first of all have to understand that who are these people whom you call Ndebeles and shonas. i think people should just treat each other the same, we have Ndebeles in Mashonaland who helped build that region just has we have Shonas in Matebeleland. to say these are this thats just wrong.

The issue of tribalism in Zimbabwe is still very salient becoz of the failure of the state and society to engage with the topic on public forum. Whoever you may it be know to you that the issue of Gukuruhondi will not fade away until there is an open discussion about it....For your own information the reason why people from Matebeland are not active in business as you said it, its becoz the state has for centuries sidelined us from nation-building, thus we feel very less patriotic..its not bcoz we want to feel like this, but its becoz t s empirically proven that subordinated groups around the world always score less in the patriotic index. So don't waffler and say we are lazy, and if you go bac to the History of Zimbabwe you will know that Matabeleland was the busiest city in Zimbabwe becoz of its industrious progress, but now all that has been intentionally taken our away from us...In Political Science we call that 'Politics of Tribalism'. Its good that we should work hard, we do not dispute that fact, but what we argue against is that it shouldn't be the determiner of who we are to the extent that you call us lazy, coz if its laziness in you eyes, to us its marginalization..Perception differ.
