Teacher stabbed by an 11-year-old pupil with a pen

Cape Town - A South African teacher in Cape Town is receiving counselling after she was stabbed with a pen by an 11-year-old pupil, News24 reported.
The incident happened at St Anthony’s Primary School in Heathfield, reported the Cape Times.
The teacher needed stitches for the wound on her arm.
She has not been at school since the incident happened on Tuesday.
An education department official said the Grade 6 pupil would probably be called for a formal disciplinary hearing.
He also said counselling and support would be provided. - News24
