Cruel people tend to forget that death is a destination for all of us good and bad. When they kill, they seem to believe that they wont die as they see death as a destination for the weak and vulnarable.

If we all realised that we all are going to die one day, I dont think we would choose to spend our shot lives killing people.

If you study astronomy a bit deeper, you may conclude that the knowledge of men is very little and there is too much of unkown space in the universe. Whether you are religious or not, astronomy will leave you questioning if at all there are no achives where the dead souls are transfered?

If at all it is a fact that souls of the dead are transfered to another planet in another galaxy, it would be worthwhile to spend a life of peace on earth in harmony with others as no one knows what awaits us in the after-life.

Religious or not, we all have some level of suspition that there is an unknown place to go when we die.

What benefit does it give to a man who was born naked to spend a life killing people and later die and be buried naked?

I can even ask my President that question.

What benefit really?

it is a shame for the British, America, France and other EU countries to fail to tell the world that Kim Jong-il is the man consulted by Robert Gabriel Mugabe in 1980 to train the Gukurahundi which was deployed in Matebeleland and partly Midlands to perish PF ZAPU leaders and its supporters and the entire Ndebeles. The history of this culprit has been read and it does not mention his major involvement of Gukurahundi in Zimbabwe in 1980. This was at the time when the British were integrating ZIPRA and ZANLA forces into the Zimbabwean National Army. The British, America and EU countries failed to condemn the training of the Gukurahundi (5th Brigade), thus, this leaves me to believe that they were involved in Gukurahundi so to secure ZANU PF a One Party State for the purpose of land. However, on the other hand if their silence was based on the satisfaction of the saying that `politics is a dirty game' then they have an obligation to tell the world that the saying was fulfilled rather than keeping quite. it is a shame that the world does not have journalist who can recall all the actions of this evil man to have perished our people. The world is full of evil.

Whatever the crime of the psychopathic and seriously delusional North Korean leadership, they did not however force the Zimbabwe govt to send their soldiers to them to be trained to kill "their own" people.
Have you seen the mass hysteria there lately? Who in their rational mind, would do that to their own people?....Those poor kids, and young adults!!! You'd have to be unhinged to admit to association with anyone responsible for causing that.; but no. not some leaders; they've come out saying that he was a "lovely man"..... making nonsense of RG's "moment of madness" 'apology'.

About Kim Jong II . . Psalm 37. God loved the man. . .but the man does NOT seem to hav responded well too that. God does NOT take pleasure in the death of the wicked (Ezekiel 18:23 - 32). So pray on for the vining wicked.

Why do we have be told by America that so and so is a dictator? Is Bush not a dictator? Is Blair not a dictator? Why are dictators not Americans or Britons? There is no-one who is a dictator. Why should America tell us about our leaders. Just because Kim refused to bow to what Americans wanted he is branded a dictator what BULL is this? You will hear them saying Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is a dictator because he wants to do whats good for his people. They killed Gaddafi because Libya was richer than most European countries. The unfortunate thing with most Africans is they see anything white to be better than them, what a shame!!!!

His death doesnt resolve our issues. As such I am indifferent to his death.I find it very disturbing for people to be excited and expectant of a dictator;s death instead of doing something while he is still alive.

5 brigade was trained in North-Korea YES. I think we are mixing two stories here. 1 Gukurahundi is Mugabe's fault. North Korea did not train them for the sole purpose of Gukurahundi. I am sure they have trained other soldiers from many countries who did not go and kill innocent people. we should blame ZANU (PF) because this was a political thing, not a tribal thing like most of us are trying to portray. I still think that the world is better with one less dictator though.

If we keep rousing haunting ghosts they will haunt our children, sins of the fathers are meant to be covered not to be used as a political gimmic.Lets invite God not mediators unto our countries problems.

I am shona i love this site but sometimes i feel the editor is always inciting hatred amongs us. Yes the Gukurahundi perpetrators shoudl be brought to book but it does not mean because i am Shona and you are Ndebele we are any different. We are one people. I also lost my uncle a Shona in the Gukurahundi. Lets stand together as one people and our country will prosper
Anonymous user 12 years
Mr Editor, am sure all you need to achieve is happening arccording to your expectations. Its obvious all the hate speech will achieve nothing, we blame and insult the chona ppl all the time and still do nothing. Your intention of causing such hate speech is ill thot and exposes your shallow, chalatan and cowardly mind. Wer do you want to take us with such shallow discussions? Gukurahundi perpetrators need to answer for their doings, but such ppl as yourself cause more harm than neccessary. Not all the chona ppl are as you want us to assume, please kindly look deep into yourself and see if you are not worse than Mugabe himself.

Thoko Mnguni: What is the reason for this discussion?
Anonymous user 12 years
If we all know the history very well, who between the Shona people and the Ndebele people started killing and persecuting the other? Am sure the Shona people have got a right as well to claim and talk such flaming words aimed back at all the Ndebele people for things that none of you including Mr Editor can even answer. We need to understand the gravity of some of our discussions first.
Anonymous user 12 years
Thoko how can you sink so low??? Its a shame
Anonymous user 12 years
ALL these shonas are quick to add a "but" in their statements without even knowing what they talking about. They cannot and will not imagine what i felt, feel and will feel

Will those that took part in Gukurahundi tell their stories, 20000 + stories. It will be positive for them, spiritually and possibly financially. I personally and most people I know have forgiven, but it would be interesting to hear an insider story from what ever rank, as it happened. We know some of you saved individuals and families in the most dramatic circumstances. Please TELL your stories.
